One of America’s biggest cannabis companies is making a foray into the business of beverages.

• Trulieve (CSE: TRUL) has officially launched a new THC infused drink brand known as Onward
  

Why it matters:‍

• Trulieve is one of the largest players in American cannabis and the launch of Onward represents the first time they have ever ventured into launching a canned beverage that contains THC
  

Going deeper:‍

• Onward is fully compliant with the Farm Bill regulations in the United States and can be shipped to consumers living in any state where cannabis has been legalized for adult use
  
• Trulieve has also struck an early distribution deal with Florida Total Wine who will begin carrying the Onwards brand in their retail locations in Miami, Orlando, Tampa and other major cities within Florida
  

The intrigue:‍

• Onward contains zero artificial colours, flavours or sweeteners and instead uses small amounts of natural fruit juice to enhance taste
