- CaLLM is a large language model that is purpose built for operating within vehicles and allowing individuals to seamlessly use artificial intelligence capabilities through simple voice commands
- CaLLM is capable of controlling multiple functions within a vehicle, including temperature, seat positions and even opening doors
Why it matters:
- Cerence has struck partnerships around their technology with some of the largest automakers in the world, including Audi, Toyota, Volkswagen and others
- Nvidia will provide access to their advanced computing technology to Cerence to allow them to leverage both TensorRT-LLM and their NeMo framework for building better language capabilities as well as developing deeper functionality within artificial intelligence powered applications
