- The new deal will have Gilat Satellite Networks supply the Department of Defense with their DKET 3421 terminals which are portable satellite communication hubs that are purpose built for supporting military specific missions and weigh less than 5000 pounds
- DKET 3421 terminals are capable of being fully deployed and operational within 3 hours of a new mission

- Satellite innovation has continued to find momentum in the public markets, with new purchases from government agencies such as NATO as well as breakthrough commercial launches for wireless broadband connectivity from low Earth orbit
