Rocket Lab has completed another launch successfully. And now they have even more of their own satellites in orbit as a result.

‍What’s happening:‍

• Rocket Lab (NASDAQ: RKLB) has successfully launched their most recent Electron mission from Mahia, New Zealand and has also deployed five more satellites into low Earth orbit
  

Why it matters:‍

• The recent successful launch is done in partnership with French Internet-of-Things company Kineis who plans to leverage Rocket Lab’s satellites to able to access important data around forest fire detection, water resources and energy infrastructure
  
• Rocket Lab is one of the most important publicly traded companies focused on space technology, recently completing a notable deal with NASA in which Rocket Lab supplied them with two twin satellites for an upcoming mission

• Rocket Lab has now done 53 separate launches and deployed 197 satellites into orbit
