One of the world’s most exciting video game studios is partnering up with Warner Brothers to develop brand new games.
What’s happening:
- Australia’s largest publicly traded video game developer Playside Studios (ASX: PLY) has entered into a new partnership with Warner Brothers to license some of their intellectual property for the creation of new games
- The partnership will allow Playside to use undisclosed intellectual property from Warner Brothers to develop multiple new games
Going deeper:
- Playside already has existing partnerships with Disney, Pixar, and Nickelodeon to integrate their intellectual property for gaming titles
- Previously, Playside was notably hired by Meta Platforms (NASDAQ: META) to help develop prototypes for Meta’s virtual reality based game Horizon Worlds
